Sorry for the mini-absence, I hate being sick especially when it seems like my work schedule has gotten pretty hectic- especially trying to find time in between to do the piles of homework I've got to do! Is everyone ready for Halloween? I can't wait although I'm not too sure what I'm going to be (I know, I'm so late at this!) yet. I love the idea of passing out candy and seeing everyone's costume and carving pumpkins. Last year I went to a couple of Halloween parties but I'm not even sure if any are going on this year :\

A couple of weeks ago I entered Teen Vogue's Photo Contest where you submit a photo of yourself that represents your 'great style' and the winner gets a flight out to New York and a photoshoot with Teen Vogue for the next issue. The winner is.... not me. Haha, well the top 20 finalists were chosen on Friday and sadly I did not make the top 20. Wendy from Hand It over though is a finalist and her style is so amazing and chic! Go vote for her :) Anyway, here is what I entered to lose (haha):

Today must have been over a million degrees! It was almost like a death trap walking into Salvation Army (can you tell I like to exaggerate a lot?) but really, who can resist sales? I found a lot of things but hopefully I can attend more sales this weekend since it's Labor Day Weekend! I'm always such a big goofball on sales! Despite being non-inspired by this terrible heat, here's what I wore today to go have lunch with Matt, shopping with Emily and complain about the weather!

chinatown! + what i wore

I've found myself spending my days off roaming around different cities and this past Monday has been no different! My friends and I decided to go wandering around Chinatown in San Francisco just for fun. I always get so inspired when I go to new places. This picture sums up a little bit of the shops down in Chinatown. Cute things for good prices!

Right now I wish I could accessorize more but the weather is just killing me! It’s really hot and humid and makes me want to take off all of my clothes and just run around naked! Just kidding! But here is what I wore (posing with the love of my life- Jane! my car, that is) to run some errands and hang out with the Matt.

It's now official two days until my trip and I could not be more excited! I've become self conscious about what I want to wear to the music show on Friday so I've been looking around the internet for some inspiration. Maybe I'll do a little post later filled with what I can find :)
